Matt Brummitt has joined Medical Staffing, bringing 17 years of finance experience, including five in the healthcare sector. Over his career, Matt has taken on a variety of roles—from accounting and media to founding his own finance consultancy, which focused on recruitment and consultancy sectors. This eventually led him to NHS Professionals, where he spent two years as Finance Director.
Matt's experience in recruitment, especially the numbers-driven side, has drawn him to healthcare recruitment, where he sees a lot of opportunity for finance leaders to make a real difference. He’s worked with multiple recruitment brands and appreciates the clarity finance brings in this space. His work in healthcare has been especially rewarding, knowing that good financial decisions can both improve patient care and help clients navigate tough financial situations.
His decision to join Medical Staffing came from wanting to broaden his impact beyond just secondary care and make a difference in other areas of the healthcare system. After meeting with the Medical Staffing team, Matt felt their visions were aligned and saw a great opportunity to help shape the future of the company.
